I got the November newsletter out! I really did it. One more episode for us before Christmas then we will be in hibernation for a bit. Check out the Best STL Pizza episode and for gosh sakes subscribe and share our podcast. It’s pretty good, right? Thankful for this community! See you in the next one!
Anyone reading this is already one of my favorite people on this earth. November was packed with all of the best F words. Football - Family - Fun. I got to attend pro and college football games, Steelers/Bears in Chicago and Mizzou/Mississippi St in Columbia, MO. Then we closed the month with much needed family time and the finale of this year’s funniest new show “The Chair Company” with Tim Robinson. Don’t miss it, the finale gets a perfect 4.0 rating from me.
Keeping it short and sweet this month. In my free time I’ve watched a lot of “Batman: The Animated Series” and I can’t wait to see what Vecna gets me for Christmas!!
Greetings everyone! Scotty Scoop here with a November wrap up. Its been fairly quiet here for me at the end of the year, which is fine by me. Predator Badlands and Running Man were the only two movies I caught this month, and other than that, haven't had much going on. I've been playing Borderlands 4 in a lot of my spare time, I've got one character (Vex) to 100% completion and I'm maybe about halfway through my second (Rafa). With two characters left and another on the way early next year via DLC, I don't know that I'll be putting it down any time soon. Obviously I think the game is good. Will anything ever live up to Borderlands 2? Probably not. But this is close, and if you love the franchise, you'll be in on this. Lots of shootin and lootin, and that special brand of humor only Borderlands could bring. Hope you all had a great November and Thanksgiving, before you know it, it'll be Christmas and the New Year!
Scoop!
What up ya turkeys. I suppose that's an insult? November has come and gone, but it brought in the holiday vibes, and I don't know what about this year has me digging it more than normal. Maybe it's being settled in the house for a year+ now, things feel more festive? We have Christmas lights on the house, decorations going up, and Home Alone 1 & 2 on constant repeat (thanks Ari). November was a solid month. It started with a music trivia that I was awful at, with some serious hours spent in the woods landing a buck on opening weekend of deer season, and crescendoed into an in-law friendsgiving, Zeller thanksgiving at our home, and then finally an in-law thanksgiving. I've successfully fallen asleep to the last two episodes of Stranger Things season 5, as well as the rom-com "Materialists" with Dakota Johnson and Pedro Pascal. This Stranger Things season has rejuvenated my spirit on the franchise. I was getting a little tired of it after last season with all the Russia/Hopper stuff, but this one has bounced back nicely (I have successfully caught up on season 5 with my eyes open).
Not much else to report, the Holidays are in full swing! Catch ya in 2026.
