This is where we share what we experience, enjoy, and highlight some local St. Louis favorites as well.

I am really enjoying ’X-Men ‘97’. I have been reading ‘Star Wars Timelines’ preparing for our upcoming Star Wars timeline episode. Carrie and I have been rewatching ‘Broad City’, ‘Parks and Rec’, ‘Smallville’, and ‘48 Hours’. I’ve been reading the Epic Collection Silver Surfer edition and rewatching the Silver Surfer cartoon from 1998 when Carrie goes to sleep (not in a creepy way, obviously).

May the Fourth / Free Comic Book Day is coming up and we are doing it big this year. We are excited to partner with local businesses like Steve’s Hot Dogs and Apotheosis Comics on the all day event! Plus, our upcoming Star Wars Timeline episode will drop that week! It is going to be huge.

I’ll also shoutout some other local heroes: Southwest Diner in town as top 3 brunches in St. Louis. Check them out! Oh, and some music of course. Carrie and I are seeing Better Lovers at Off Broadway in a couple weeks. Pumped to see them again and one of my favorite music venues in town.

In about a month I’ll be seeing the funniest human alive, Tim Robinson, perform comedy live in San Diego. We’ll be devoting an entire episode to him and his genius sketch comedy show I Think You Should Leave, coming this May (You can’t skip lunch - IYKYK). St Louis City SC MLS Soccer It has been a blast watching this team already in year two. The stadium fan experience is unbelievable. You can order Steve’s Hot Dog’s from an app at your seat and not miss a second of action. Music has been on point lately – Kid Cudi released two albums in a month that I can’t turn off (just secured tix to see Cudi live in STL this summer, we’ll be talking about it with DJ from 3rd Eye Movie Reviews).

I can’t stop shopping at Apotheosis comics. Just picked up a prelude to the X Men 97’ cartoon comic, a Batman 89 Echoes comic featuring a Harley Quinn in the Keaton Batman-verse, and the new Ultimate Spiderman. Amazing stories, and I will be back for more. We recorded on location at Apotheosis Comics and Lounge earlier this month, and we had an absolute blast. Still here thinking about the fish tacos we had at The Royale Food and Spirits last week. As my hero Guy Fieri would say.. HAVE MERCY.

Hey everyone, Scotty Scoop here! Excited to talk about some things coming up on the show in the next few weeks! Godzilla x Kong just came out, I’ve seen it, and can't wait to discuss all the kaiju destruction! I’ve got a lot of things coming up this month and that includes concerts! Sum 41 at the Factory! And Silversun Pickups at the Hawthorne! Lots of things to watch in April that I know we’ll be excited to talk about, like Fallout on Prime, Monkey Man, Civil War, Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare....um.....Rebel Moon....part 2..... yeah, I’ll watch that I guess.

We just did a show at The Royale here in STL and it was my first time there, and I can’t wait to go back. The atmosphere there was amazing, the drinks were delectable and food was fantastic. Its definitely going to be a regular stop when I'm in the area. Later this month I’m excited to visit a new concert venue I haven’t been to yet and that's The Hawthorne. One of my favorite bands, Silversun Pickups is playing there and it seems like a great place for an intimate show. Can’t wait to talk about it!
