‘Red One’ (2024 Film) In Theaters November 15th, 2024
Red One is an action-packed holiday movie starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Chris Evans that will be released in theaters on November 15, 2024. The movie will then be available to stream on Prime Video.

So, just got out of Red One. I had no expectations going into this movie, saw only a bit of a trailer (strange there hasn't been much of a media push for this) and I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. Now, this isn't gonna win any Oscar's, but it's not gonna win any Razzies either. It's a typical Rock flick (take that how you will) but it had some heart. Chris Evans, and J.K. Simmons (playing a jacked Sata Klaus) we're great rounding out the cast.
Short spoiler free synopsis, Cal (The Rock) is Santa's (Simmons) head of security and it's almost the big day. Naughty lister and criminal Jack (Evans) has done a job that accidentally revealed the secret location of the North Pole and Santa gets kidnapped. This very quickly turns into a buddy cop comedy and you could pretty much guess the rest.
My daughter Lyla and I really enjoyed the film, it really felt like a summer blockbuster, but in the winter! I think this is really gonna kick me into the Christmas spirt!
So, if you're in the mood for some action, and Christmas movie the kids are sure to enjoy go check it out when it drops on Nov 15th!
I'll give it a 3.4 out of 4. Lyla gave it a 3.8, she was going to give it a 4, but she deducted points for the Christmas theme.
