The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) show Wonder Man is about a struggling actor who auditions for the role of a superhero on a show-within-a-show called Wonder Man. The show stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, an actor who has played many roles over the years, but has always been the bad guy.

Here are some other details about the show:

  • Creators: Andrew Guest and Destin Daniel Cretton are co-creators of the series.

  • Cast: Ben Kingsley will reprise his role as Trevor Slattery, and Demetrius Grosse will portray Eric Williams/Grim Reaper.

  • Directors: James Ponsoldt and Stella Meghie will direct episodes of the series.

  • Production: The series was originally scheduled to begin production in March 2023 under the working title "Callback".
